I usually make a working copy that's all highlighted and would be pretty impossible to reuse. If I remember to, I like to take a picture of the finished piece along with my marked up chart. Then I destroy the working copy.

I keep the original in my file box along with my other charts. Once the project is done, I'm happy to lend or give the chart to a friend. I haven't sold any of them, but I probably should!
