SBQ for w/o Aug 21st

Catching up on some SBQ's!

This week's SBQ was suggested by Dawn(http://crafterscreations.blogspot.com/) and is:

If you had to choose, would you rather spend money on overdyed floss or hand-dyed fabric?

First off, I love both hand dyed fabric and floss! Fabrics I tend to buy with a specific project in mind, but I do find them to be more versatile and I have fun seeing what project might work with a fabric. Flosses aren't quite so exciting to me because most of the time I use them when they're called for in a chart, so while I think they're pretty, I don't get the same creative feeling from them. So I'd go with the hand dyed fabrics!

SBQ for w/o April 3rd

This week’s SBQ was suggested by Terri and is:

What items do you consider essential to your needlework that you keep in your stitching bag?

This is a fun one!
Obviously needle & thread...
Magnetic board & magnets to hold my chart
Yellow & Green highlighters: Yellow to highlight the color I'm doing, green to "cross it off" once those stitches are done.
Thread Heaven, especially if working with Metallics. It seems like my fibers lay better if I run them through TH first.
Pretty scissors on a fob. I love my Gingher & Dovos most.
Fiber Hider - I tend to use every bit of thread I can, so this is nice for finishing my ends
